After nearly three years with Agile Collective I recently decided it was time for a new challenge. It was an absolute pleasure working with such a great team, and co-founding and helping build the company has been an exciting time. I'm confident Agile Collective will go from strength to strength now and I'm looking forward to seeing that happen.
I learnt a huge amount at Agile Collective, in the way businesses work and in being part of a co-operative, as well as in the social enterprise and academic sectors. I also got to be more involved in the Drupal community (an awesome group of people), and learn and refine my web skills.
I'm thrilled to now be joining Settled, which is a game-changing platform that allows people to sell their home online for free in new and better ways. Truly empowering people through technology. It's a great idea, and the team are ready to embrace the latest digital tools to create the best experiences possible.
Over the past few years I've been helping out with a few things in the Drupal community, namely the Open Drupal initiative. Although I'm likely to be pretty busy for the next few months I am planning on continuing to support Open Drupal. I'd especially like to get the new Open Drupal platform prototyped, getting the curriculum out of Google Docs and into a nicely presented site powered by markdown files.
Settled is currently running on Drupal and that isn't likely to change any time soon, and we'll certainly be investing in Open Source technology for the long-term.
